It really did seem like season 3 would be the turning point on that, but instead it's been played more for laughs and well-we-saw-that-coming-SHOCK! than eroticism. I have to wonder how much of it is self-censorship so as not to offend the aforementioned 'tards (who will be offended irrespective of whether what is presented is a mass wangfest or chaste holding of hands). It's an even greater shame as Lafayette is the only character I haven't wanted to clip around the ears for being an idiot.
